Abstract

Así como un artículo es una idea en estado sólido, un experimento es -en esencia- una experiencia práctica en un ambiente discreto, y permite aterrizar todo lo que se discute a nivel teórico/conceptual.  Los espacios definidos para llevar a cabo estas experiencias asociadas a algún ámbito de la psicología se conocen tradicionalmente como laboratorios y su presencia en determinadas casas de estudio se traduce en un sello de calidad, o al menos de seriedad, de la formación que allí se realiza. Hoy en día, sin embargo, el rol central de un laboratorio de psicología experimental se pierde o tergiversa al no considerar en su funcionamiento un lugar  para estudiantes de grado, olvidando que es en este espacio de la formación profesional donde se dan las herramientas básicas para una adecuada alfabetización científica, lo cual es mucho más que sólo saber citar de manera correcta en normas APA.
