About the Journal

Aims & Scope. Cuadernos de Neuropsicología - Panamerican Journal of Neuropsychology is a scientific journal that publishes topics about neuropsychology, addressed to the international academic and scientific community.

Panamerican Journal of Neuropsychology Publishes original articles, translations, reviews, interviews and clinical cases that articulate a critical and open point to the advances in the study of the nervous system and its link with psychic processes.

Panamerican Journal of Neuropsychology has a permanent call for articles; which means, authors can submit articles for consideration throughout the year. For the submission of papers, review the AUTHORS 'RULES and contact the editor who will keep you informed of the different stages of the evaluation process and possible publication of your material. This journal neither applies nor charges any type of charge to the authors for the publication process (Article Processing Charges APCs).

Panamerican Journal of Neuropsychology is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available at no charge to the user or his or her institution. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without seeking prior permission from the publisher or author. All of the above, in accordance with BOAI's definition of open access.

Panamerican Journal of Neuropsychology uses a permanent PID identifier, counting on a DOI provided by Crossref, seeking the objective of permanently providing and preserving access to the digital content generated through our publication.

This journal neither applies nor charges any type of charge to the authors for the publication process (Article Processing Charges APCs).

Panamerican Journal of Neuropsychology is a quatermetral publication, with an open access policy (open policy finder), which publishes works in Spanish, Portuguese and English, all manuscripts are evaluated by two or more international peers, using the double-blind system. 

Panamerican Journal of Neuropsychology adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative BOAI, which means that all content is freely available at no charge to the user or their institution allowing any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search the full text of its articles and use them for any legal purpose, without any financial, legal or technical barriers, other than those that are inseparable from those involved in accessing the Internet. 

The journal is edited by the Center for Academic Studies in Neuropsychology (CAEN), with the active participation of its editorial board and scientific committee, composed of editors from different countries. In coherence with the principles of open access, no article processing charges (APCs) are required, thus guaranteeing the free dissemination of scientific knowledge without economic barriers for authors or readers. However, voluntary contributions, both institutional and private, channeled through its publishing house, are accepted. These contributions do not condition in any way the editorial processes or the acceptance of manuscripts, safeguarding academic integrity and transparency in editorial management.

From the ethical responsibility of the editors, reviewers and authors, this journal adheres to the COPE principles as stated in the following link.Articles published in this journal are protected under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license. This means that authors retain full rights over their research and publications at all times.
